After received SSL Certificate from the provider, you will need to install it to the server from which the CSR key request was generated. The following is the steps for SSL Installation at Microsoft IIS7:

Copy or download the SSL certificate file (*.cer) to the web server that you wish to secure.

Click on Start menu, then Administrative Tools, then Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.

Click on the server name.

From the center menu, double-click the “Server Certificates” button in the “Security” category (near the bottom of the menu with view by group).

From the “Actions” menu (at the right panel), click on “Complete Certificate Request.” This will open the Complete Certificate Request wizard.

Browse to your *.cer file that was provided to you by SSL certificate provider. You will then be required to enter a friendly name. The friendly name is not part of the certificate itself, but is used by the server administrator to easily distinguish the certificate.

Clicking “OK” will install the certificate to the server. Note: There is a known issue in IIS 7 giving the following ERROR: “Cannot find the certificate request associated with this certificate file. A certificate request must be completed on the computer where it was created.” You may also receive a message stating “ASN1 bad tag value met”. If this is the same server that you generated the CSR on then, in most cases, the certificate is actually installed. Simply cancel the dialog and press “F5″ to refresh the list of server certificates. If the new certificate is now in the list, you can continue with the next step. If it is not in the list, you will need to reissue your certificate using a new CSR (see our CSR creation instructions for IIS 7). After creating a new CSR, login to your account at provider control panel and click the reissue button for your new SSL certificate.

Once the SSL certificate has been successfully installed to the server, you will need to assign that certificate to the appropriate website at IIS.

I keep getting this Error “Message sending failed. Retry?” when I send or reply to a text message using my handset. All incoming SMS just tested fine, the problem only happens on the outgoing SMS. The messages just cannot send out and returned with error at outbox.

Then I used D’Chat to contact DiGi mobile service provider, their response very fast and they suspected is my SIM Card problem. So I went to change the SIM card at Digi Specialised Store at Jusco yesterday.

It is easy and FREE for SIM replacement. They just get my particulars from MyKad to submit the request online and gained the approval from DiGi system after verified the identity. They told me the system might ask to settle the overdues if found there is any outstanding amount in the bills. They can also accept credit card payment on the spot.

The service not bad, the whole process took about 15 minutes and I get a new 128K SIM card (my existing one is 64K). They said it will be auto activate after 2 hours then the old SIM card become invalid. Finally the problem resolved after I replaced the new SIM card.

Malaysia 1 cent coin do wonders… very economical & effective… Lets do it!

Do you still keep 1 cent coins? It’s time to utilise it !!!

How to prevent mosquitoes lay eggs? No way…
But, cheapest way of preventing survival of mosquitoes:

We cannot stop mosquitoes lay eggs at any stagnant water in drains/ponds or water collected in waste pails, tanks, tins, used tyres etc. etc. Of course if you have fish inside the tanks/containers then there should be no problem.

Do you know that there is a very simple and very economical way to destroy the mosquitoes’ eggs and not let them hatch into larvae. Very very simple, just put in few 1 cent copper coins into the tanks/containers then it will solve all your problems. Because in accordance to Japanese Research Scientists, they found the mosquitoes eggs will be destroyed by a kind of mineral discharge from the copper.

DON’T BELIEVE? Try it by yourself and even the small snails also will not visit the containers (with copper coins) collected with stagnant water. You will observe the water collected in the containers will be very clean and clear..

Please Share with friends

There are people tried out this and proven effective…. no longer having problem of mosquito laying eggs and having larvae in the toilet bathtub and rain harvesting garden containers any more after testing it for more than a month.

I think this method is very environmentally friendly, furthermore Malaysia 1 cent coins are simple to get it and nowaday its seldom uses in the trade market. So not costly and no harm for us to try it out at our home/garden to reduce the mosquito population at least it would solve the problems in our neighborhood.
