Some Windows are not able to display the menus and dialog boxes of certain non-unicode programs in your native language. You might need to do the following changes to turn on the features…
In Windows XP:
1.) Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel
2.) Select “Regional and Language Options”

3.) Select “Languages” tab > choose “Install files for East Asian languages” (It might need the Windows setup CD)

4.) Then at “Advanced” tab > select “Chinese (PRC)”

5.) Save it and you might need to restart the windows to apply the new settings
